About TrudyI’m not a “production“ weaver, but I enjoy the creativity at a relaxed pace in my sun porch studio. I’m constantly looking for new color combinations and finally making use of the color classes that I’ve taken over the years. It’s exciting to see the colors sing as they come together in pleasing combinations on my loom. Adding a color to spark up the others takes careful consideration. Nature’s beauty is always inspirational and, of course, there is Autumn foliage in Vermont ..... I’ve been a member of the Vermont Weavers Guild since 1976, the New Hampshire Weavers Guild, the Weavers Guild of Boston, Handweavers Guild of America, Complex Weavers, the American Textile History Museum, Handweaving Museum of Clayton NY, and several other fiber related organizations. I have won several awards from Complex Weavers: www.complex-weavers.org I have also won several awards at the Vermont Weavers Guild, and New England Weavers Seminar. |
